VPNIW AI Tool Access
Choose routes for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and developer tools. Check regional availability, account permissions and connection stability before changing your network setup.
VPNIW covers 110+ countries and 150+ routes, with unlimited devices. No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. A network connection does not replace an AI platform’s account eligibility, subscription or API authorization.
CONNECTION / Network requirements
Region, egress and persistent connections
AI tool access involves more than loading the homepage. Sign-in redirects, account verification, file uploads and response generation may each send requests to different domains. If one step bypasses the intended route, the homepage may load while sign-in fails, or a prompt may submit without the full answer arriving. Start by identifying which step failed instead of repeatedly switching clients.
Check regional availability separately from account eligibility
Platforms may use your egress IP, account region, payment details and their own policies to determine which features are available. Supported regions can also vary between web, mobile and API access. Check the relevant platform’s official documentation and account page. Confirm the region requirements for the feature you need before choosing a route; connecting through a node in a particular region does not automatically grant access to every feature there.
A consistent egress IP is better for sign-in than frequent switching
Platforms may scrutinize shared egress IPs, unusual requests or sudden changes in sign-in environment. A failed connection does not necessarily mean the IP is the problem; browser state, platform outages or account permissions may also be involved. Use the same route suited to your target service for sign-in and subsequent use, and avoid switching regions during verification. If additional verification appears, follow the platform’s normal process rather than repeatedly retrying without diagnosing the issue.
Streaming responses need a persistent connection
Chat responses usually arrive in chunks, and some editor features also rely on persistent communication. A page loading only confirms that the initial request succeeded; it does not prove that the connection will remain stable. If a response stops partway through, check your local network, client routing, device sleep settings and platform status. Judge a route by whether it can sustain a complete task, not just load the homepage smoothly.
TOOLS / Route comparison
What kind of route does each tool need?
Use the table below to guide your checks; it is not a list of guaranteed working services. Platform regions, feature permissions and risk controls can change, so verify access with your own account and setup after connecting.
| Tool | What to look for when choosing a route | During sign-in | Checks for continued use |
|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Meets the target feature’s regional requirements; keep egress consistent for sign-in and chat | Confirm account eligibility; check that verification pages and identity redirects load | Streaming responses and file uploads; check API authorization and limits separately |
| Claude | Within the official supported regions; suitable for ongoing sessions and file transfers | Keep the sign-in environment consistent and follow the on-screen verification steps | Check for interrupted long responses or failed uploads; distinguish network issues from platform limits |
| Gemini | Check the target product’s regional requirements; route related requests through the intended egress | Confirm that your Google account and organization permissions allow access | Verify web, developer API and cloud services separately |
| Copilot | Identity verification and target product requests can connect; route is suitable for interactive use | Distinguish Microsoft Copilot accounts from GitHub Copilot accounts | Troubleshoot web sessions, editor authorization and completion requests separately |
| Midjourney | Check access to the sign-in page, task submission and image assets | Sign in through the current official entry point and confirm subscription access | Distinguish queue delays, generation failures and image-loading failures |
| Cursor | Editor process requests use the intended route; suitable for ongoing interaction | Check whether browser authorization successfully returns to the editor | Test completions, chat and indexing separately; check external credentials and permissions |
For ChatGPT and Claude, check the sign-in environment and whether responses stream to completion. With Gemini, distinguish the web product from the developer API; results for one do not apply to every product. Copilot also has multiple entry points: the web assistant and the coding assistant in an editor may use different accounts and request paths. Identify the product before troubleshooting.
Submitting a Midjourney task and displaying its image are separate steps. If a task is queued on the platform, switching routes usually will not speed up generation. For Cursor, check whether the desktop app itself uses a proxy. A browser-based authorization page loading does not mean the editor’s subsequent requests use the same egress. Testing each step is more useful than simply saying a tool will not open.
ACCOUNT / Sign-in environment
Checks during account creation and sign-in
Your VPNIW account and AI platform accounts are separate. VPNIW does not require an email address; create an account with a username and password. AI platform account requirements, regional rules and verification steps are set by each platform. Do not assume third-party tools follow VPNIW’s account requirements.
Before signing in, connect to your chosen route and check that your browser uses the intended egress. With rule-based routing, configure sign-in, identity verification and target tool domains according to the client’s actual rules. Do not assume adding only the homepage domain covers every request, and avoid copying configurations from unknown sources without understanding how they work.
For redirect loops, try a separate browser profile or temporary browsing session to check whether old cookies, extensions or cached data are involved. This helps isolate browser state; it does not change account eligibility. If the temporary session works, review the original browser settings one by one. If regional or account restrictions remain, check the platform’s message instead of repeatedly clearing the cache.
After signing in, keep using the same egress where possible. Verify each device separately: computers and mobile devices may use different networks, and system-wide and app-specific proxies may behave differently. VPNIW supports unlimited devices, but AI platforms have their own rules for account sessions, seats and devices.
WEB / API
Verify web and API access separately
Successful web access does not mean the API will work. The web product relies on your browser sign-in, while APIs usually require a separate key, project permissions, model access and billing. A network service provides a connection path, not third-party API keys or model credits, and a web subscription does not automatically grant developer API access.
First check whether the request reached the platform
If the API returns a clear authentication, permission or quota error, the server has responded; check your key, request parameters and project settings first. If the failure occurs during DNS resolution, connection setup or response reading, check your proxy, certificates and local network. Identifying the stage where an error occurred is more accurate than attributing every issue to the route.
Troubleshoot streaming and standard API requests differently
A standard request may return the full result at once, while a streaming request needs the connection to stay open. If response headers arrive but the content stops, check client read timeouts, whether an application gateway is buffering data, and whether an intermediary is closing the connection early. Increasing the timeout alone does not prove the issue is fixed; verify stability over a complete session.
Treat API keys as account credentials. Store them in an appropriate local environment or secrets manager, and never put them in public code, screenshots or support tickets. Manage proxy settings separately from credentials. During API troubleshooting, you can keep the error type and redacted response content, but do not share full request headers or URLs containing credentials.
DEVELOPMENT / Processes and environments
Command line, IDE and CI setup
Command line: check which proxy settings the runtime reads
Browsers may use the system proxy, while command-line tools may not inherit it. Some tools read HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY or ALL_PROXY; others need separate configuration. Check the documentation for your SDK and runtime. Use the proxy address and port configured in your client rather than copying values from another device.
Test in the current terminal session before making the configuration persistent. After changing it, check whether child processes inherit the environment variables and whether NO_PROXY is accidentally sending the target request directly. Use explicit exclusions when internal services need a direct connection. For certificate errors, check the system clock, trust chain and network environment; do not hide the issue by disabling certificate validation.
IDE plugins: the editor and browser are separate processes
GitHub Copilot, Cursor and other coding assistants may complete sign-in in a browser, while inference requests come from the editor, extension host or a separate background process. After changing proxy settings, restart the relevant app if needed so the process picks up the new configuration. When reviewing plugin logs, distinguish authorization failures from connection failures and server rejections; missing completions alone do not prove a network interruption.
With remote development, containers or subsystems, check whether requests originate on your local machine or remotely. A loopback address on your machine does not point to the same service from another host. Set proxy listening scope and access permissions for the actual deployment; do not expose a local proxy indiscriminately just to connect from a remote host.
CI: use the environment where the job runs
A CI runner has a separate network from your personal computer. A successful local API call does not prove that a build job has the same egress, DNS or certificate setup. First confirm where the job runs and review your organization’s network policies, then configure an approved connection method. Provide credentials through protected CI variables or a secrets manager, and redact logs. Do not package personal subscriptions or account credentials into a repository.
DIAGNOSIS / Troubleshooting by symptom
Common symptoms and causes
Change one variable at a time and keep a record of results before and after. This helps distinguish route changes, browser state and platform issues.
The homepage loads, but sign-in says your region is unsupported
First check the target feature’s officially supported regions and your account eligibility. Then confirm that identity verification and tool requests use the same intended egress. If your account or organization lacks the required permissions, changing routes cannot grant platform access. Avoid switching regions repeatedly during verification.
The response stops midway, but works again after refreshing
Check whether your local network changed, the device entered power-saving mode or the app has a read timeout configured. Then check platform status and test another suitable route with the same type of task. A short page load does not prove that a streaming session can run to completion.
The web app works, but the terminal or editor cannot connect
Check whether the process reads the proxy settings, needs a restart, or sends requests from a remote container or development host. Compare system proxy, app proxy and client routing settings; do not infer another app’s egress from the browser alone.
The API returns an authentication, permission or quota error
Check your key, project, model permissions and platform billing status first. Follow the API’s error message; a network route cannot add account quota or change model authorization. Hide credentials and full request headers in troubleshooting logs.
File uploads fail or generated images will not open
Confirm that attachments meet the platform’s requirements, then check connectivity to upload and asset domains. If the task is complete but the image will not load, troubleshoot the asset request. If the task is still queued, check its platform status rather than mistaking generation time for a download problem.
SELECTION / Routes and data usage
Choose a route for your use case
Check which regions support the platform and feature, then choose a route in one of those regions. Labels such as IEPL, relay and direct connection in the route list describe the connection path; the type alone does not guarantee that a tool will work. Your experience also depends on your local carrier, network conditions and the platform’s response. Test sign-in, task submission and complete output.
For everyday chat and coding assistants, start with a verified route and keep it fixed; use a backup route for comparison if problems arise. Image generation, file analysis and asset downloads also require checking uploads and downloads. VPNIW’s anonymous, no-logs policy describes its privacy practices; AI platforms still handle accounts and submitted content under their own policies. Check your organization’s authorization and the platform’s data handling rules before sharing sensitive information.
Choose a data allowance based on your actual usage; a single text prompt or image does not translate into a fixed amount of data. Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date; mid-cycle upgrades are prorated by remaining days. Data add-ons: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire.
VPNIW supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. After signing in, get your subscription details and client from the user panel; the client provided depends on your account plan. Payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. A 7-day refund policy applies. Choose a route first, then pick a data tier based on your usage rather than the tool name alone.
