VPNIW / SETUP

VPNIW Setup Guide

Get your account ready, choose a plan, import your subscription, and verify the connection. Follow the steps below to get connected first, then adjust your everyday settings.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account and Open the User Panel

Select “Free Trial” below to open the VPNIW user panel’s account creation page. No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. You’ll use the username to sign in, so choose one that’s easy to recognize but doesn’t reveal your identity. Use a password you don’t use on other sites. Submit the form as prompted, and correct any fields flagged with an error before continuing.

After creating your account, make sure the account overview is displayed. If you still see the sign-in screen, log in with the username and password you just set. You can take a moment to find the plans, clients, and support ticket sections in the panel. The marketing site explains the service; the user panel is where you manage your account, orders, and subscriptions. When you switch devices later, return to the same user panel rather than looking for installers on the marketing site.

Keep your login details safe. Don’t save your password in a public note or share it in a group chat. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps, so check your plan status after opening the panel. The “Free Trial” link below starts the account process; see the panel for details about what’s available. You can check monthly subscription and data package prices in the next step.

PLAN

Choose a Plan and Confirm Your Payment

Once you have an account, open the Plans section in the user panel. Choose the option that suits your usage: a monthly subscription with a data allowance that resets each month may work well for regular use, while a data package that never expires can suit more occasional use. Compare the data allowance and billing method. More data doesn’t necessarily mean faster access to every website; performance also depends on the route, your local network, and the destination service.

Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade partway through a billing period, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they don’t expire and remain available until used. Plans support unlimited devices, but account for data usage across all your devices. See the plans page for a detailed comparison.

Select a plan in the panel, then check the order name, price, data allowance, and billing method. Pay using the Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT option shown on the page. After paying, return to the user panel and check both the order and plan status. Don’t assume the plan is active just because you closed the payment page. If the status hasn’t updated, refresh the relevant page and check the existing order before taking further action to avoid duplicate submissions.

VPNIW offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. If you have an order issue, keep your order details and contact support through a panel ticket. Once your plan is active, continue to the subscription and client steps. Client downloads are provided based on your account plan status, and availability is shown in your account.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get Your Subscription from the Account Overview

Return to the account overview and check your plan and available data, then find the subscription section. A subscription provides the client with route settings available to your account; it’s not a regular webpage or an installer. If the panel offers an import option for your client, use that. Otherwise, copy the subscription link from the panel and open the subscription or profile settings in your client.

Don’t edit the link’s path or parameters, or copy only part of it. When pasting, make sure it doesn’t include explanatory text, line breaks, or extra spaces. Your subscription link contains information needed to configure your account, so protect it like a password: don’t put it in public documents, send it to anyone else, or show it in full in support screenshots. Support staff usually need the error message and steps you took, not your complete subscription link.

This guide uses a sample link to show what one looks like: https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. It is not a working VPNIW subscription and cannot be used to connect. Sign in to the user panel to get your own link. If there’s no active subscription option in the overview, go back and check your plan and order status. If everything looks active but you still can’t get a subscription, see the subscription update section of the troubleshooting guide.

Once you have your subscription, install a client for your operating system and import it. You don’t need to choose a plan again for each device. VPNIW supports unlimited devices, so you can sign in to the same account on your other devices and get the configuration. Each device still needs its own client setup and connection check.

CLIENT

Install a Client and Import Your Subscription

Sign in to the user panel and open the Clients section. Choose your device’s operating system and follow the instructions to get the client and subscription. You need a VPN client that supports subscription profiles, not a browser extension or a download utility. Installation steps, available options, and system prompts depend on the instructions shown in the panel. This page doesn’t provide public installer links.

Windows: Desktop Clients with Subscription Support

Choose the Windows client in the panel, install it, and open the app. Find the “Profiles,” “Subscriptions,” or similarly named section and look for an option to add a profile from a link. If the panel offers one-click import, your browser may ask whether to open a local app. Confirm that it’s the client you just installed before continuing. To add it manually, paste the subscription link copied from the account overview into the link field and give it a recognizable local name.

Save the profile and update the subscription. Wait for the server list to appear, then select the profile you want to use. Seeing a profile name doesn’t necessarily mean the update succeeded; open the server list and confirm that options are available. The first time you connect, you may need to allow system permissions or network settings. Follow the client’s prompts. Keep the default settings while you verify the connection; you can configure startup behavior and advanced rules later.

macOS: Desktop Clients with Subscription Import

Get the macOS client from the panel and install it as instructed by your system and the panel. In the app, add the link in the profile management or subscription section. If you start the import in a browser, confirm that the app received the profile, then return to the client and check the update. Some clients put connection controls in the menu bar and subscription management in the main window. If you can’t find the server list, open the full settings or management interface.

After updating, select a profile and server. macOS may ask you to approve a network extension, VPN configuration, or related permissions. The exact prompts vary by client; approve them only for the client you’re using and follow its instructions. Once approved, return to the app and connect. In the next step, check access to your destination website. A menu bar icon alone doesn’t confirm that all your traffic is using the selected route.

Android: Subscription-Based Mobile Clients

Choose the Android client in the panel and install it by following your device’s prompts. Open the client and find its profile or subscription page. Paste your subscription link using the add-link option, or use the import method provided by the panel. Update the profile and make sure the region or server list loads, then choose a server. If you get a link error, copy the full link again from the panel instead of deleting parameters to try to fix it.

The first time you connect, Android will usually ask you to confirm the VPN connection. Allow it and check the client’s status. If the connection drops when the app moves to the background, check your system’s background restrictions for the app. Don’t create another account or place another order. Settings vary by device; see the troubleshooting guide for help diagnosing background connection issues.

iOS: Use a Compatible Client as Directed in the Panel

On iPhone or iPad, open the iOS section in the panel for instructions on getting a client, then follow the link to the App Store to get a compatible client that supports subscriptions. Return to the panel and use the matching import option, or add the link manually in the client’s subscription or profile settings. If your browser asks whether to open an app, check that its name matches the client you intend to use. After opening it, confirm that the profile was saved and the subscription updated successfully.

When you select a server and connect, iOS will ask you to allow a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompts, then return to the client. If the system shows that you’re connected but the destination still won’t load, don’t repeatedly delete the system configuration. First, follow the checks below to confirm the route and test access in the app. For more detailed steps, read the iPhone VPN Beginner’s Guide.

Linux: Import Using Your Client’s Instructions

VPNIW also supports Linux. In the Clients section of the panel, find the instructions for your system and follow your client’s process for importing a subscription. Permissions differ between distributions and desktop environments, so don’t copy system settings paths from another platform. Start by updating the profile and selecting a server; see the guide for advanced settings.

VERIFY

Connect to a Server and Verify Access

After importing your subscription, decide what you need to access. For services in mainland China, choose a server labeled for mainland China access. For international websites, choose an international route suited to the destination’s region. The region is just one factor: the destination service’s account region, policies, and current route conditions can also affect access. See the servers page for more about regions and route types. Start with a basic connection and avoid changing several settings at once.

After selecting a server, connect in the client and approve any system prompts, then open a browser. Check your current exit details with an exit IP lookup, then visit the website or app you actually want to use. Evaluate both the IP check and the destination service: with split tunneling, the lookup page and destination app may use different routes. If the lookup temporarily fails, that alone doesn’t mean the entire route is unavailable.

Reload the destination page and check whether the site, images, and features work as expected. Then try the apps you use regularly. AI tools, video services, and services in mainland China each have their own access requirements; a connected status doesn’t guarantee that every service will offer the same features. VPNIW’s privacy claim is “anonymous, no logs,” but you should still protect your account and subscription and follow the rules of the services you use.

If you can’t connect at all, first check that your local network has internet access. Then confirm your plan is active, the subscription updated, and the required system permissions are enabled. If you can connect but one site won’t load, try another route for the same access destination, then reopen the app. Change one setting at a time and keep track of the previous choice so you can tell whether the issue is the route or your device configuration. Don’t reset your subscription, proxy mode, and system network settings all at once.

Once the basic connection checks out, adjust startup behavior and preferred routes as needed. For slow speeds, failed subscription updates, apps not using the proxy, or background disconnects, follow the relevant steps in the troubleshooting guide. If you still need help, submit a support ticket through the user panel. Include your device’s operating system, client name, what you were doing when the issue occurred, and the steps you’ve tried. Attach a screenshot of the error with account and subscription details hidden. This gives support the information needed to investigate without making you repeat the entire setup process.
